An interesting factoid: John Koster is the only Congressional Republican challenger that beat a Democrat incumbent in the whole United States!

Washington Rep. Rick Larsen hasn’t been widely mentioned on the roster of at-risk Democrats this fall — but if primary results are any indication, he’s got a serious challenge on his hands.
Fresh vote results out of last week’s all-party primary show Republican John Koster, a Snohomish County Council member, leading Larsen by 276 votes. Larsen and Koster finished well atop a five-candidate field that included retired fraud investigator Diana McGinness, mechanical designer John Carmack and Whatcom Transportation Authority finance staffer Larry Kalb.
