Seriously, how many times does the government have to succeed in running things into the ground before this country wakes up? The USPS is diving deeper into the red, financially, and what do they propose? Raising their prices, and cutting their services.
What would be done if the post office were being run by a private company? How would they get more business, more income? Possibly lowering prices, getting better at what they do, or creating more products and features that people want to buy?
Instead, their decision is to ration. That’s right, RATION! I wonder what would happen if the healthcare system starts to lose money (if it were being run by the government - already the leader in denying services with Medicare and Medicaid.)
Thank you RedState.com for this post

I can't understand for the life of me why the obviously poor performance of so many government run entities, such as the postal service, is not enough to convince some that we do not want the government to take over the health care industry. Have you stood in line at the License Bureau lately?
According to a Washington Post article in 2008, the Senate voted to privatize the congressional dining room because it had been losing millions of dollars since the early 90's. Come to think of it, we had to BAIL OUT the Senate food service to the tune of $250,000 for a months worth of salaries before they dumped it off onto a private contractor. That was before BAILOUTs became vogue.
Maybe we should remind the Dems what Diane Fienstien said to defend the privatization of the senate food service, "There are parts of government that can be run like a business and should be run like businesses."
I Wonder why some think the government take over of health care will turn out any better than the Senate food service, the post office, Medicare, Medicaid.
This is one time I agree with Diane Feinstein.
