Bellingham's Tea Party
April 15th
4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Guide Meridian (near Bellis Fair Parkway)
There are now more than 300 Tea Parties planned in cities all over the United States. Join thousands of Americans to express your concern about out of control spending and policy changes in the United States we love.
1. Please arrive early as we are expecting a crowd. Park in the parking lot of Good Guys/ToysRUs.
2. Bring you own signs. Keep in mind, this is not a Republican or Democrat event so we do not want partisan signs, or signs that are inflamitory or vulgar.
3. Signs and American flags will also be provided to those arriving early.
4. Citizens will stand on both sides of the Guide Meridan waving signs and flags.
5. If you are not able to attend, at least drive by, honk and wave. Consider a sign for your car, truck or motorcycle.

I just want to verify that this demonstration is for the purpose of protesting out of control government spending. When I did a search for info on the Tea Party I saw this website that advocates using the Tax Day Tea Party for a totally different purpose. Please see gaytaxprotest.blogspot.com/2009/02/merrill-encourages-tax-tea-party-revolt.
I've been going to these for years. Probably because I don't buy into the false left/right paradigm. Can you believe that some people actually fall for it? Sad really.
Thank you for the information! it is time to stop this government spending.
I must say, this is funny.

Well, I'm Historian Anne's sister, and I'm only twelve, but I still care about this economy, and I am willing to go to this tea party to fight our cause, because something HAS to be done about this outrageousness!
