We could be looking at a nightmarish scene on election night if a shady organization by the name of ACORN succeeds in their efforts to steal the election. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) has been caught red-handed in at least 14 states for registering people who are not eligible to vote.
In Nevada, the FBI raided an ACORN office after thousands of fraudulent voter registrations were filed with election officials. Authorities were alerted to voter registration forms filled out on behalf of Dallas Cowboy football stars.
Allegations of fraud in Ohio are boiling over. More than one-third of the new 660,000 voter registrations did not match the information on file with the Ohio Dept. of Motor Vehicles and Social Security Administration. In a stunning turn of events, the Democrat Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner has refused to release the mismatched voter data to county election officials.
Around the country numerous voter registrations have turned up for that beloved American icon Mickey Mouse but it should be noted that while he is dearly loved by young and old alike, he is not eligible to vote in our elections.
This year alone, in the states of North Carolina, Indiana, Connecticut, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, Michigan, New Mexico and Texas, all have found evidence of fraud including duplicate registrations, fake information, and suspicious, bogus and otherwise incomplete registrations. The falsified registrations all have one thing in common: they were submitted by ACORN.
Last year five ACORN organizers were found guilty of voter fraud in Washington State which begs question: did this help Christine Gregoire pull off her win on the third counting of the ballots in 2004? Remember that after the initial counting of ballots hundreds more were “found” in King County and those votes provided the margin of victory for Gregoire.
Keep in mind tax-paying Americans foot the bill for ACORN to pursue its goal of electing more Democrats. They have been on the federal take for over 30 years. ACORN organizers systematically dump thousands of registrations right before the deadline thus overwhelming the efforts by election officials to verify legal voters.
Andrew McCarthy, a respected editor of National Review notes,
“This year alone, ACORN has filed 1.3 million voter registrations, and already — without thorough scrutiny by forensic law-enforcement investigators — tens of thousands of them are known to be fraudulent. The group, moreover, is known to have bribed voters to register dozens of times and to have hired convicted felons as registration recruiters.”Thus far, there have been no assurances from election authorities that this year’s election will be protected from contamination. Free and fair elections are the foundation of a democracy therefore we must demand safeguarding the integrity of our elections.
Sonya Jones, an attorney in Olympia along with John Lott, a senior research scholar at the University of Maryland, co-authored an article outlining the fundamental unfairness to legitimate voters when fraud is left unchecked,
“How much is your vote worth? Apparently, less than it used to be. The registration and multiple registrations of so many people who shouldn’t be voting means your vote is diluted by fraudulent votes.” The widespread fraud that is being perpetrated is calculated and intentional. Curiously, the Obama campaign has been silent on the subject of voter fraud, and the media has aided and abetted his silence.
Here is what we now know: As a “community organizer” in Chicago, Barack Obama directed a “voter mobilization” arm of ACORN called “Project Vote”. The young Barack Obama was very successful in this position and oversaw the registration of 150,000 new voters. He also served as a lawyer for ACORN in 1995 and earlier this year his campaign paid an ACORN affiliate $832,000 for get-out-the-vote efforts. Barack Obama’s ties to ACORN are deep and irrefutable. Barack Obama dismisses the full extent of his relationship, when in fact his involvement became the launching pad for his political career.
Why is this information important? Because it points directly back to the character and trustworthiness of a man who could become the next president of our country. By all the evidence it doesn’t appear to be a risk worth taking.
